FAMILY MATTERS....spending time with the people who love you, and know you, and are just plain glad you're here.... I met Eric and his kids at the Cromwells Beach for a fun Father's Day outing... Anytime is play time, but beach time is the most fun!!!  The Fosters came with beautiful smiles and fun outfits, and they knew how to have a good time together! AND BABY MAKES 4... I have had the pleasure of watching this family grow, and am honored to be their friend and "auntie".... and just over a month later, Solan arrived ready for his photoshoot! Big Sister Sunia did a dance, Nana was there, and his mommy and daddy had some fun with the photos.... Getting a good angle and pose for the shot is always important.......but this might not be one of those....

A new year, a new chance for equality in our country. While there is still a big battle ahead to bring FULL MARRIAGE EQUALITY to all citizens in the United States, 2012 brought a new Civil Unions law to Hawaii, allowing Same Sex couples to enter into a union that will give them the ability to gain legal rights generally reserved to Hetero couples. It's not perfect, but it's a start. I can't wait for the day when a WEDDING IS A WEDDING!!!
